Why the billboards?

We are convinced that people don't know the simple yet damaging truths about porn use.  There are too many people succumbing to porn addiction, which in turn, ruins the lives of the users, their families, and even contributes to the selling of human beings for sex and pornographic images.
It's time to pass on the truth about Porn.

Affects the User

Have you ever linked porn use to depression, anxiety, anger, erectile dysfunction, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, violence, infidelity, loneliness? (this is not a complete list)

Porn affects the brain like a drug.  Read about it HERE.

Can you check yes to any of the following?
  • I feel powerless to resist the urge to view porn.
  • I frequently spend more time or money on porn than I initially intended.
  • I have made many unsuccessful attempts to limit or stop viewing porn.
  • I spend a significant portion of time viewing porn, thinking about porn, or engaging in activities that will enable access to porn.
  • I neglect family, social, or work obligations to view porn.
  • I continue to use porn despite experiencing negative consequences.
  • I pass up opportunities, or consider passing up opportunities, to have more time to use or view porn.

Affects others

Porn isn't just a "personal" thing. One's porn use hurts others, too.
It negatively affects one's marriage and other relationships physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  These effects can possibly lead to divorce and/or broken relationships.

It fuels rape and sexual assault.
It fuels infidelity.

Read about it HERE and HERE and HERE and HERE
(and you'll find more if you search for it)

Porn fuels bad sexual habits for teens and young people.  It is an issue related to the epidemic of sexting and child-on-child sexual abuse.  Kids and teens are getting sex education by watching porn.  Is that really where we want our children learning about sex?  It is often violent, grotesque, physically and verbally abusive toward women and very unrealistic.
